About me :

Mohammadreza Naeimirad received his PhD in 2016 from Isfahan University of Technology (IUT) in Textile Engineering (Fiber science and chemistry), after accomplishment of doctoral thesis on "Liquid Core Fiber Bicomponent Melt-spinning" through a Research Visit, collaborating with Advanced Fibers Group at Swiss Federal Laboratories for Materials Science and Technology (Empa). He stayed also 9 months in College of Textiles at North Carolina State University (NCSU) as a Visiting Scholar. His research area focuses on polymer processing, synthetic fibers (specially multicomponent melt-spinning and other advanced fibers production), polymeric composites and nanocomposites along with different morphological, physical and mechanical characterization on polymeric materials. In addition to his impressive scientific background which is resulted in two dissertations (MSc and PhD), more than 15 papers in peer-reviewed journals and international conferences, he also experienced about 7 years working in industrial environment e.g. fiber melt-spinning factories and composite parts manufacturing companies.

Mohammadreza is going to employ his scientific knowledge and industrial experience in an academic or research job as a future career.
